Where is Delaware?

Situated on the eastern seaboard of the United States, the state of Delaware is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware River and Bay, as well as by the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Delaware's location affords easy access to the major metropolitan areas of the northeast. Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore and New York are all within a two-hour drive. Boston is six hours away, as is Pittsburgh.

And where is Wilmington?

Wilmington, the state's largest city, is located on I-95 in the state's northernmost county.

What is the Brandywine Valley?

The Brandywine Valley is named for the Brandywine River, which winds through the countryside where Pennsylvania and Delaware meet.

Will I have trouble getting a room in the Greater Wilmington area? Over 6,000 hotel rooms available, but it's always wise to call ahead. Caution: NASCAR race weekends in June and September tend to fill our hotels early.
